We publish technical guides on wine storage, climate control and materials. People read them before making decisions worth thousands of euros, so it is only fair to say how they are written.
All technical content is signed off by Joan Serrate, designer and technician of bespoke climate-controlled wine cellars, with over 35 years designing, building and installing these pieces. The figures in the articles (temperatures, humidity ranges, insulation thicknesses, capacities, starting prices) come from projects the studio has actually delivered, not from collecting what other websites say.
We use AI tools to draft text, structure an article and translate into Catalan, French and English. We never publish anything straight out of the machine. Every text goes through human review first: figures are checked, anything that does not match how we work is corrected, and anything that sounds right but is not true is removed.
If we find an error we correct it and update the article's review date. We do not quietly delete content or change it silently when it affects something material. If you spot something that does not add up, write to us: we would rather have the correction than the silence.
Write to us and we will check it. lhumidor@lhumidor.com
Every cellar, cabinet or humidor is designed from scratch around your space. Write or call and we'll arrange a technical visit to study your case. No middlemen. No commitment.
